Launched in 1967, HOPSCOTCH EVENT had the pleasure of reviving the international forum for music industry decision-makers: MIDEM+24!
The challenge was to bring together the key leaders of the music industry for 4 days of conferences, masterclasses, and concerts. The event took place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, where all the music industry professionals could exchange ideas, network, and most importantly, create new business opportunities.

For this 2024 edition, the goal of MIDEM+ was to challenge conventions, embrace the unexpected, and celebrate the disruptive power of music by highlighting the theme of the year: distortion!
On this occasion, Yemi Alade, Stewart Copeland, and Jean-Michel Jarre had the honor of sponsoring all the festivities.
HOPSCOTCH EVENT has designed a unique program consisting of talks and panel discussions, titled MIDEM+24 Experience. To advance the institutional topics of the industry by envisioning the future of musical creation, MIDEM+24 brought together nearly 500 professionals from the sector and policymakers committed to culture.
Experts from around the world also shared their expertise with a whole new generation of cultural professionals through the MIDEM+ Academy workshops and masterclasses, conceived and orchestrated by the agency.

To wrap up these enriching days, HOPSCOTCH EVENT and its partners organized a series of exclusive concerts. MIDEM+ LIVE showcased new talents, established artists, and international stars such as Yemi Alade, De La Soul, Soolking, Pedro Winter, Black Star, French 79, Joachim Garraud, Dombrance…
The 10,000 participants, speakers, and enthusiasts, united by this unique lineup, were able to share their common passion like never before.
