RATP Welcome to Glacière Station

RATP

From December 18 to 20, 2024, in celebration of the holiday season, the Glacière station of the Paris Metro transformed into an enchanting venue to host the event “Welcome to Glacière Station.”

For three days, this space turned into a genuine ski resort, a winter bubble offering metro passengers a snowy escape.

An Unforgettable Immersive Experience

From the moment they arrived, visitors were transported into an icy world. The usual station signs were subtly replaced with frosted versions, echoing the station’s iconic name.

RATP agents, donned in woolen hats and ski masks, warmly welcomed travelers, inviting them to embark on a unique mountain getaway.

For the occasion, the space was completely redesigned: snow-covered fir trees, lanterns, ski signs, sleds, and various ski accessories. A genuine cable car, transformed into an interactive photo booth, offered visitors the chance to capture their moment in this immersive winter atmosphere.

At the heart of this icy setting, a captivating animation complemented the experience. Inside a specially arranged igloo, a ski simulator invited participants to try their hand at skiing, allowing them to feel the adrenaline and precision of a champion racing down the slopes. To reward their efforts, RATP agents offered chocolate stars to travelers, adding a touch of comfort and indulgence.

A magical and unforgettable experience, where every detail contributed to transporting passengers far beyond the station walls.
