Relais & Châteaux
Relais & Châteaux and HOPSCOTCH EVENT organize their annual “rendez-vous”, an extraordinary multi-day journey that brings together all the members of the association.
The event, held in a country renowned for its hospitality, allows the 700 guests to explore new horizons, thanks to the insights of international experts in hospitality and gastronomy. It also offers an inspiring experience through a cultural, convivial, and festive program.
HOPSCOTCH EVENT is proud to have been orchestrating the Relais & Châteaux rendez-vous for over 10 years now.
An Annual Gathering Dedicated to the Relais & Châteaux Association
For each new edition, a unique destination is chosen. HOPSCOTCH EVENT then designs a comprehensive program of interventions and activities spanning several days.
This is an opportunity to bring together members around the general assembly, inspiring plenary sessions, original workshops, and astonishing conferences led by renowned speakers.
A partner village is also created to showcase the expertise in the world of hospitality and gastronomy.
Finally, all guests are invited to themed evenings that allow them to discover the culture and traditions of the host country.

2023: Relais & Châteaux Gathering in Copenhagen
The 2023 Relais & Châteaux Gathering took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, centered around the theme “COPENHAGUEN.”
During these three days dedicated to creativity and open-mindedness, attendees enjoyed a rich program featuring expert speakers on gastronomy and design themes related to the Danish model. A general assembly, plenary sessions, workshops, and inspiring keynotes were organized, thanks in part to the exceptional participation of:

2022: Relais & Châteaux Rendez-vous in Venice
The members of the association explored the theme “Embracing the Future” in Venice during the 2022 edition of the Relais & Châteaux Rendez-vous!
The event opened at the La Fenice theater, a magnificent neoclassical building, in the presence of Simone Venturini, Deputy Mayor in charge of tourism. It was an opportunity to share a groundbreaking study on consumer trends in travel and gastronomy, as well as a fresh perspective on the preservation of natural and cultural heritage and responsible tourism.
The Venice edition was highlighted by the election of the new president: Laurent Gardinier and his international delegates. The program also included a series of workshops focused on the future of hospitality, a costume party in the heart of a majestic Venetian palace, and a gala dinner at the Arsenal to conclude the event.
2016: Relais & Châteaux Rendez-vous in Tokyo
The 2016 Relais & Châteaux Rendez-vous took place in Tokyo, Japan. The theme “Nurturing our vision” immersed guests in a journey to the pinnacle of refinement.
During these three days of exploring personalities, innovations, and traditions that transcend the values of Japanese hospitality, Relais & Châteaux members attended an incredibly inspiring program featuring round tables and exclusive keynotes. These sessions brought together international speakers such as:
