HERTA® at the International Agricultural Show

From February 22 to March 2, 2025, on the occasion of the 60th edition of the International Agricultural Show, HERTA® reaffirms its responsible commitments and its roots in the French agri-food sector for the fourth time.

An Immersive Booth Dedicated to Responsible Communication

The 2025 HERTA® booth continues the legacy of previous editions while taking a significant step forward in human value and eco-design. Spanning 152 m² + 31 m² of mezzanine, the booth immerses visitors into the large HERTA® family through a human and impactful scenography: a whirlwind of 55 portraits, authentic testimonials, and interactive journeys centered around CSR commitments.

The “Simply Act” approach is the guiding thread of an educational journey across 4 zones:

  1. Farming – Presentation of actions undertaken with the French pork industry: meat quality, support for farmers, rigorous selection. An educational puzzle helps better understand the cuts used.
  2. Welcome to the HERTA® Factory – Immersion into the manufacturing backstage: transparency, quality, food safety, reduction of environmental impact, workplace well-being.
  3. In Your Fridge – Focus on responsible consumption: reduction of packaging, improvement of recipes without compromising taste. A digital memory game enlivens this zone.
  4. The Central Zone – The heart of the booth, it presents the CSR approach and highlights the two pillars: “Act for Good” and “Act for Well-being.”

A 4th Participation to Boldly Affirm Its Commitments

For its 4th consecutive participation in the International Agricultural Show, HERTA® reaffirms its responsible commitments and its roots in the French agri-food sector. Building on the success of the 2024 edition, the brand continues its mission: to highlight its CSR actions, raise awareness among visitors, and provide concrete proof of its positive impact on the general public, agricultural partners, and institutions.

As a historic and popular brand present in 9 out of 10 refrigerators, HERTA® is fully aware of its social, environmental, and economic responsibility. Its CSR approach, initiated in 2001 with the first charter of commitments, has been structured over the years around a clear ambition: to act for the good and the well-being.

  • Acting for the good means offering quality products that are accessible, with improved nutritional profiles, simple, and reassuring.
  • Acting for well-being means ensuring sustainable production, being transparent about origins, promoting animal welfare, reducing the carbon footprint, and improving the daily lives of employees.

The International Agricultural Show also highlights HERTA®’s central role in the French pork sector, with a committed approach to fair compensation for farmers, more sustainable animal feed, and enhanced animal welfare.

Eco-design: A Stand Designed to Leave a Positive Footprint

In collaboration with HOPSCOTCH EVENT, ISO 20121 certified and awarded the Platinum ECOVADIS label, HERTA® has implemented a sustainable action plan.

Zero Waste Objective: A Concrete Environmental Approach

• Elements reused since its creation in 2022: facade, totems, cards, furniture
• Eco-friendly materials: PVC-free tarps, panels made from recycled forex, natural linoleum flooring
• Responsible goodies: puzzles, keychains made from recycled plastic
• No tastings: for the general public
• Zero paper: no brochures distributed
• Selective sorting with educational signage
• Post-show reuse via the Muto association: 92% of non-stored materials reused in 2025, equivalent to 548 kg.

Local Anchoring: Active Support for the Local Economy

• 90% of service providers are from the Île-de-France region.
• Activities entrusted to students from AgroParisTech, an agricultural engineering school partnering with the show, to promote knowledge transfer.
