Brand Activation "Rugby Studio"

Following the success of the activation carried out during the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Société Générale is renewing its trust in HOPSCOTCH EVENT to continue this concept of bringing the passion for rugby to life through a unique experiential setup: “The SG Rugby Studio”.

Designed as an agile and engaging operation, the initiative was rolled out throughout the 2024/2025 season at certain TOP14 matches (Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Bordeaux), rugby villages (La Rochelle), and the TOP14 Extra Tour (semi-finals in Lyon, final at the Stade de France).

Objective: enhance the TOP14 partnership, increase brand visibility at every key moment of the season, and strengthen the connection with fans.

At the heart of the activation: the “Comment Box”, a UGC (User Generated Content) animation that invites participants to step into the shoes of a sports commentator.

Thanks to a mobile video dubbing app, fans can record their own version of their favorite club’s tries, share them on social media, and enter a contest to win exclusive prizes. A fun and viral mechanism that turns every fan into a brand ambassador for Société Générale, while creating engaging and authentic content.

To further enhance on-the-ground proximity, Hopscotch Event has conceived the “Rugby Studio Mobile”: a portable and ultra-modular version of the setup. Designed to adapt to all environments (both indoor and outdoor), this mobile format allows for:

  • Multiplying contact points with fans directly at the heart of stadiums and partner villages.
  • Easily deploying the setup at all types of public events, without technical constraints.
  • Strengthening the inclusive and participatory dimension of the activation, by reaching all types of audiences (children, people with reduced mobility…)
