Kia Arena, UEFA Euro 2016

As the official sponsor of UEFA Euro 2016, Kia needed to offer an activation where football fans would be at the heart of the action, allowing them to intensely experience their passion while discovering the brand’s latest innovations. The goal was to legitimize and elevate Kia as a sponsor of the competition.

HOPSCOTCH EVENT designed a friendly, trendy, and innovative space for Kia, specially created for UEFA EURO 2016.

Proposal

Kia Arena

Away from the hustle and bustle of fan zones, nestled between football, automobiles, innovation, and urban arts, the Kia Arena was the true headquarters of the competition in the heart of the capital, on Avenue George V.

The program included:

  • live broadcasts of matches
  • live streaming of a special football show, hosted by Daniel Cohn-Bendit on Europe 1
  • a showroom showcasing the brand’s latest innovations, including the all-new Kia Niro
  • the exhibition of the Groundhopping photo project by Jurgen Vantomme, Whip illustrations, and an OH BOY! sound atmosphere

And to truly be at the heart of the game, HOPSCOTCH EVENT designed a digital thread device, in partnership with Lagardère, highlighting hundreds of quirky data related to the competition and the automotive brand.
